London is one of the largest city in the world. It is the capital of Great Britain. London is very old city. It is about two thousand years old. London stands on the river. This river is called Thames. The population of this city is more than nine million people. There are three parts of the city: the City, the West End and the East End. Also there are a lot of interesting places in London. The most famous are: the Buckingham Palace, the Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and the Tower. The most famous square in London is the Trafalgar Square. It is located in the center of London. Also there are a lot of places to visit such as parks, museums, theatres, art galleries.
